All About Me

You are not crazy or having amnesia if you remember the missing posts from this blog.  I have deleted some of my previous posts due to many reasons.

I have neglected this space for too long and now, I want to reignite the flames in these hallowed halls with a brand new perspective and outlook in life and everything that comes with it.

So, about myself?

First of all, I am a gay Malaysian man living in Kuala Lumpur, who has only recently moved back (in 2013) from Melbourne after six long years in the land down under.

There are many things about myself but I'll try to keep it simple here with five facts. The rest of it, you can find out in my future entries.

#1 I am halfway out of my Big Fat Gay closet. While I am out and proud to most whom I associate with in KL, I am still slowly easing my way out of the closet to my family. Though I suspect they all know it.

#2 My work includes: striving in the world of publishing as an editor and trying to get my ass in th doorsteps of the international scene.

#3 What I love the most is fashion (how stereotypical of me) but I am not just the type of gay shopaholic who likes to dress up. I also love reading about fashion and learning the history behind each and every designer I love. I can truly say that I have a passion for all things fashion (provided that most of my interests revolve around high-end designer brands).

#4 Like all gay men, I am insecure. Trust me, despite the perfectly groomed hair, rock hard abs and beautiful clothes, all gay men are insecure. Why else do you think we try to look better than most straight men?

#5 Perving men is one of my favourite hobbies. No, I am not one of those who stalk one person 24/7 and obsess of what they do. Ok, who am I kidding? I do it too but those are celebrity crushes, of which 100% of the human population does it too. However, I enjoy perving at hot men on the streets, no matter who they are. Sometimes if I am lucky, I'll get a snap and maybe, I will share it with you here.

Why am I writing this blog? As a gay man, things are not as happy and bubbly as most think they are. In the dictionary, gay means happy but that's not the case for most of us. I think we are some of the most emotional group of people currently existing in the society.

I love writing, so I choose to use this blog to de-stress and keep my sanity in check. Plus, I am a journalism graduate, so there is no better way to vent out my daily frustrations than writing long-winded notes about them.

In this blog, I want to share with you: questions I have about the stereotypical gay life, my gay romance, troubles, doubts and maybe even my sexual adventures.

This could be happening anywhere in the world. My adventures in New York, Australia, Hong Kong to Europe and London. Stay tuned for some raunchy action (at least, I think it is raunchy).

Nothing will be in a chronological order. Things I wrote might have happened long ago or it might be something from recent experiences. It will just be whatever I feel like writing at that moment.
